Our state-of-the-art training facility provides your team the opportunity to learn in the best possible setting. It is a combination of theory work and practical hands-on training every day. We begin with mastering the fundamentals, mastering the tools and techniques of the trade and better understanding of professional barbering products. During the course of your team’s studies, they will master an advanced full range of styles, fades and cuts, and experience ‘hands-on’ training led by industry-recognized experts.

We offer full-time day classes for your benefit. Our curriculum, classes and programs were designed with the intent to teach your staff to be advanced/master barbers. Your team will learn advanced techniques for cutting hair with traditional shears, clippers and razors. As well as advanced straight razor methodologies for faces, necks, line ups and scalps. Upon completing the course your team members will be graded as entry, advanced or master, depending on their level of skill and ability.

Our training program was designed to utilize a blended teaching model of both in-class and work from home online-based learning.

By coupling the Canadian Barber Academy’s training methodology with modern day tools, our facilitators can enhance your barbers’ skills to a master barber level. We don’t show every hairstyle separately. We teach the entirety of the skills and techniques needed to accomplish an ideal outcome for any hairstyle, and in a timely way. This procedure likewise permits the barber to tailor every hairstyle to the customer’s head, so that every single hairstyle praises the customer.

Alongside this technique and teaching style, we watch every trainee as they work, offering advice, maturing their skills and showing them advanced correction methods to guarantee that your customers are getting precisely what they’re requesting.

*Unlike hair industry schools that can facilitate licensing, the Canadian Barber Academy works exclusively with employers to enhance barbering skills. We do not provide skills or knowledge for the purpose of vocational training. Formal apprenticeship training must be performed by the licensed employer in accordance with Provincial hairstylist and barber regulations and guidelines. While the Canadian Barber Academy provides some of the skills required for mastering the art of barbering, it does not provide all the training required to become a licensed barber. Our program is a skills enhancement program designed to improve your barbering skills with your employer. All students must sign an attestation of having prior barbering or hairstyling experience, or must have a job or existing offer of employment to qualify for our training.
